Great Campus hosts the Italian Institute of Technology’s “Human Technology Laboratory” and StartUp Incubator funded by Invitalia. A large part of the project is reserved on campus for the new Polytechnic School that will have a unified campus, with custom built laboratories, studio spaces, library and a lecture hall. It has all been planned from the beginning to connect students with managers and to bring researchers together.
The Science and Technology Park is part of a wider network within the automation, robotics and biomedical industries. This network employs more than 15,000 workers, of which 80% have university and post-graduate degrees, and with an employment rate more than double the national average. Great Campus already hosts 16 companies with 2,000 managers and researchers.
